Client: Children’s Educational Theatre

CET was looking for a new website to provide a clean yet vibrant experience reflecting the energetic summer day camp it offers every year to children interested in the theatre arts. Furthermore, the site needed to be easily and quickly updated by staff and volunteers throughout the year.

To accomplish all of this, the design was created around photographs from the actual camp and performances, drawing its energy from the camp itself. The site runs on WordPress, allowing CET to instantly add and remove content as necessary.

As Co-founder and Creative Director for DuroCast LLC, I have been working closely with a small but extremely talented team of individuals on this project since May 2009. It has been a blast, and currently the service is in closed beta testing and showing great traction among the current users.

For my own blog, I needed to create a central hub for all my online activities. As part of this, I ended up building a lifestream that pulls information from the many places I contribute to on the Internet. If interested, you can also check out my design process for this redesign.

For this project, I worked alongside Faction, Inc. to create this website for the Association of American Railroads. Faction handled the design and Content Management System while I handled the front-end development.

Client: Vantage Street

The Grand Aleutian is a landmark hotel that was seeking a simple design to tie into WordPress for easy content management. Working alongside Vantage Street, I created a warm design that Vantage Street then coded out.

For this site the Carmel, CA school district was looking for something easily manageable for large amounts of content. I worked alongside Faction, Inc. as they handled the design and Content Management System while I handled the front-end development.

Client: Ignition13

Elliot Swan Designs worked with Ignition13 to create this mini site for PETCO, with Ignition13 first designing the site before sending it to me for coding in XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Unfortunately, this version of the site never actually went live.
